Sermon Notes on the Old Testament
Douglas McC. L. Judisch, M.Div., Ph.D.
Dr. Judisch is an Old Testament exegete, whose special interests are the Psalter, apocalyptic literature, and the Christology of the Old Testament. He also serves as assistant editor of the Concordia Theological Quarterly. He received his docotorate from the University of St. Andrews in Scotland and has also studied in Oxford, Edinburgh, Salamanca, Vienna, Heidelberg, and Jerusalem. He is the author of books and articles on various texts and topics in English and Spanish. He serves as archdeacon of Redeemer Lutheran Church in Fort Wayne and has conducted classes abroad in Canada, Spain, Guatemala, China, the Holy Land, and elsewhere. He is a member of the International Organization for the Study of the Old Testament, Oriental Institute, Society of Biblical Literature, American Schools of Oriental Research, Biblical Archaeology Society, Association for Targumic Studies, and Evangelical Theologian Society. In addition, he is a member of the Clan Lindsay and various Scottish organizations and is precentor of the Fraternitas Gaudi (an informal glee club).
