“The annual hymn festival at the Good Shepherd Institute has become a highlight for the seminary community and a model of vibrant singing for the entire church,” remarked Kantor Kevin Hildebrand, director of the Seminary Kantorei and Schola Cantorum. “Hymns are alive, well, and celebrated at CTSFW, and we wanted to share these recordings for others to enjoy.”
The Kantorei and Schola Cantorum are accompanied by the famous Kramer Chapel organ, brass ensemble, and chamber orchestra. The collection also prominently features the voice of the congregation.
