Equip students to “care for all”
Next week, November 28, is Giving Tuesday, a day focused on charitable giving worldwide. Gifts to Concordia Theological Seminary, Fort Wayne (CTSFW), on Giving Tuesday 2023 will support the work of our Seminary Guild, with a special focus on the Legacy Project, which puts a Pastoral Care Companion (PCC; CPH 2007) in the hands of every first-year field worker at CTSFW.
Some of you might have a well-used PCC of your own. Or maybe you’ve benefited from the PCC when a pastor or deaconess provided care to you or others in need, drawing on hymns, Scripture verses, and prayers perfectly suited to the situation.
A gift on Giving Tuesday will help ensure that church workers for years to come will receive this treasured book filled with words of encouragement, comfort, strength, and guidance.
We give thanks for God’s precious Word and wish everyone a blessed Thanksgiving.
