Admissions at Concordia
A pastor is one who has been called to be a servant of Christ administering His gifts. As we continue our walk together as brothers and sisters in the Church of Jesus we have the need for faithful shepherds. It is the purpose of CTS to form servants in Jesus Christ who teach the faithful, reach the lost, and care for all. To that end, we in the Admission Department of CTS are dedicated to the task of helping identify Christian men to prepare for the Office of the Holy Ministry and women to prepare for the Biblical office of Deaconess.
Come visit our Seminary. Experience our faculty who are dedicated to the task. Worship with us, be fed by the Word. Come and contemplate, “Is this calling for me? Am I one who is called to serve in the position of pastor or deaconess?” Only our Lord makes it possible through His gifts.
Come and be a part of a caring family of brothers and sisters who are gathered for the purpose of learning more about God’s gracious Word and Sacraments. Come and become equipped to be His servants to comfort the sorrowing, to feed the growing family of God with His faithful, inerrant Word. Come and grow in the knowledge of His Word. Study the wonders of Scripture in its original tongue. So much is in the very words uttered by the Spirit through His appointed authors. Come and practice the skills needed. Hone you gifts, develop your talents and discover the joyous mission that lies ahead.
Read, pray, work and grow as you are challenged, inspired and encouraged to use those tools given you. There is still much to do while it is light!
We look forward to meeting you. We look forward to your visit. We look forward to helping you through your transition to the seminary. We are here to serve you as you prepare for a life of service making Christ known to those in need of a Savior.
Yours in Christ!
