Seminary Guild

Lord, what will you have me do?

Continual Projects

We like to play mother or grandmother to our students and their wives. The goal of the Guild's continual projects is to make our students and their families feel at home. Many have to overcome the adversities of moving, financial burdens, uprooting their children and loosing their home churches. An uncertain future lies ahead for them. In the meantime, the whole seminary community strives to pray for them, to worship with them, to encourage them, and to equip them for the tasks ahead. The Seminary Guild's role is:

We like to make the children happy

We participate in the Christmas MarketPlace by providing free Christmas gifts for the student families.

Birthday cakes

Our single dorm students get the birthday cake they desire. Home baked, of course.

Brain food

We energize our tired students during finals week with snack packs.

Yes, baby we love you

We welcome you into the seminary family. That's why we make t-shirts for the newborns.

Cookies and more

are served at receptions during the academic year.
