The Reverend Professor Roethemeyer graduated from the University at Nebraska in Lincoln in 1981 and from Concordia Seminary at Saint Louis in 1986. During the 1986-1987 academic year he pursued an S.T.M. in Systematic and Exegetical Theology while serving as a Graduate Reference Assistant at Concordia Seminary Library. In 1987 he began M.A. studies in Library and Information Science at the University of Missouri in Columbia. He received his M.A.L.S. in 1993. Pastor Roethemeyer served as Public Services Librarian and Art Curator at Concordia Seminary in Saint Louis from May of 1988 until May of 1997 and as Pastoral Assistant at Blessed Savior Lutheran Church in Florissant, Missouri from 1989-1995. In June of 1997 he joined the faculty of Concordia Theological Seminary in Fort Wayne, defining a new administrative role as Director of Library and Information Services. He is working to integrate traditional and non-traditional information resources into the fabric of the current campus and ultimately into a new library/information center. Professor Roethemeyer and his wife Kay have one child, their daughter Christina.
