Dr. Coles is as an Associate Professor in the Pastoral Ministry and Missions Department. He teaches Historical Theology courses as well as intensives for POBLO(People of the Book Lutheran Outreach) students. Dr. Coles received a B.A. from Yale University in 1973, an M.A. from Yale in 1975, an M. Phil. from Yale University in 1976, an M.Div. from Concordia Theological Seminary in 1986, and a Doctor of Philosophy from Yale, University in 1983, and a Doctorate in Missiology. Dr. Coles serves as a missionary pastor in Venezuela from 1986-2003.
